Thermofin Heating Elements

Thermofin elements provide a rugged, cost effective, and efficient solution for a wide range of air heating applications.

Features and benefits

  • Thermofin heating elements provide rapid and efficient heat transfer for natural convection or forced air heating.
  • Vibration resistant at high air velocities.
  • Custom design elements available on request.

Construction

  • The element has a standard metal sheath element with a mechanically bonded continuous spiral fin attached. Both are made from 304 stainless steel.
  • Optional materials available on request: 316 stainless steel or Monel.
  • Zinc plated bush mounting with M16 thread, nuts, and washers.

Applications

Typically used for:

  • Convection air heating in comfort heaters for domestic use.
  • Instant heat from forced air heating such as fan heaters and heat pumps.
  • Industrial process air heating.
